Thai Food Festival - 10/08/08

I stepped out in the (brief) sunshine last weekend and headed down to Greenwich, not to see the remains of the Cutty Sark, but to a scrummy food festival instead.

The Thai Food festival or Thai @ Zero Longitude as it is called took place on both Saturday and Sunday from 11am until about 6pm.

Having travelled to Thailand earlier this year i thought it would a great excuse to get some friends together for a bit of a feast in Greenwich Park.

Once inside we were pleasantly surprised by the array of food on offer. Remarkably over priced, but definitely worth a try, there was up to 10 stalls from various different Thai eateries around the capital, and i pretty much gave 50% of those a try. There was everything on offer from Pad Thai, Fish Cakes to Fruit Shakes.

There was also loads of other entertainment going on like Thai food carving classes, kick boxing, music and of course dancing.

I would definitely go back yesterday, but would make sure it was near to closing as everything got reduced 75% but i was already full :(
